4. Description Abstract Penelitian tentang ”Analisis Kation dan Anion Air Tanah di Daerah Sukabumi Jawa Barat” telahdilakukan. Konsentrasi anion ditentukan menggunakan spektrofotometer visibel dan titrasivolumetrik sedangkan konsentrasi kation menggunakan Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom (SSA).Data yang diperoleh dari hasil analisa (data hidrokimia) sebagai berikut: persentase kation terbesardalam sampel air tanah adalah ion Na+ . Pada beberapa sampel air tanah yaitu sample air tanahdengan kode Smb 8, Smb 16, dan Smb 19, kation dominan setelah Na+ adalah kation Mg 2+sedangkan sampel air tanah dengan kode Smb 20, kation terbesar setelah Na+ adalah kation Ca2+.Persentase anion hampir seluruhnya didominasi oleh anion bikarbonat (HCO3- ), kecuali padasampel air tanah dengan kode Smb 18, Smb 19 dan Smb 20 anion dominannya adalah anion sulfat(SO42-). Dari data yang diperoleh diharapkan menjadi informasi yang berharga bagi penelitianselanjutnya, seperti penentuan kualitas air tanah, penentuan jenis air tanah bahkan sampaipenentuan umur air tanah pada daerah tersebut.
