Muhammad Ansor is a lecturer of Islamic political science at UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (from 2023). He was previously lecturer at IAIN Langsa, Aceh, Indonesia (2009-2023). He earned his bachelor (2001) from the STAIN Salatiga, master (2004) and doctor (2019) from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. His research interests include gender and Islam, women and interfaith relations, and Islamic political movements.
