Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Penjualan pada PD. Hikmah Jaya Jakarta Barat

Abstract

At the time of the study in PD. Hikmah Jaya, a sales system in the processing of the data is still using the recording in the ledger.  Increased sales caused much data out in the general ledger. This  resulted in irregular data storage, data retrieval takes a long time, the absence of data backup at any time if a book is lost or damaged and the manufacture of complex reports. In addition the data the debt irregular sometimes cause data loss, so often there is a loss of uncertain amounts in credit sales. All this resulted in sales of existing systems in PD. Hikmah Jaya does not run  efficiently and effectively, in accordance with the increasing number of sales there. To overcome these problems, the researchers tried to develop the Sales Information System in  order to resolve the issue. In developing this system,  researchers used a structured approach to the stages in the  System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as flow from the  development of a system consisting of five phases: planning,  analysis, design, selection and implementation of the system.  Tools used in application development Sales Information System in PD. Hikmah Jaya is PHP as a scripting language, Apache Web Server, and MySQL as database processing using Xampp package. In general, the system can help the process of  reporting of data CRUD and sale of goods in PD. Hikmah Jaya  and allow a user to obtain accurate and relevant information.
