Abstract


The use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in supporting the reform of the bureaucracy becomes a necessity. One of them is the development  of applications attendance system. The system currently running at the Research Center for Development of Science and Technology (PAPPIPTEK) which is a working unit in LIPI already using finger print attendance management application. Finger print attendance management application is an application that can read data presence and absence of employees, from fingerprints. Finger print attendance management system built using Microsoft Access database, this database is  only as a client. This study was conducted to increase the performance of the current system runs, into a Web-Based Attendance System. Making it easier for sub-section of personnel and informing management and facilitate employee attendance data in the filing of applications for permission and services online. This information system is developed by using methods SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) or better known as the Systems Development Life Cycle so that repairs and future development can be done, according to the needs. From the test results information system is built, it is known this system can provide advantages and benefits to stakeholders ie employees, staffing and Management Sub-section. PAPPIPTEK LIPI employees can access presence information systems, and the official application for permit application online, subpart personnel can perform perekapan employee attendance and tardiness for the calculation of the performance benefits and meal money easily and efficiently. As well as mengapprove Management can request permission from the employees, as well as monitoring employee attendance. This can all be done online stakeholders.
