Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Penggajian Karyawan (Studi Kasus: Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah Harta Insan Karimah)

Abstract

Recently usage of information systems is very efficient and effective for transaction processing, especially daily payroll transactions. Payroll is one important aspect of company because it is a form of reward for services given to the company's employees. This research aims to analyze payroll activity at PT. SRB Treasure Insan Karimah and offer proposed improvements over the existing weaknesses in the running system. Problems are facing companies today is, many errors to calculate monthly salary for employees whom caused no integration data involve in calculating salary components. Therefore, authors propose payroll information system design to resolve the issue. Payroll information system proposed include activities ranging from payroll time recording employee attendance, overtime, meal and Transportation (UMT), claims of health benefits, loans, allowances, discounts, charity income, and Tax cuts. The proposed system can also generate reports related to payroll activity. Built Payroll Information System used RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool, and programming language has used PHP and MySQL as database.
