This study examines the strategic communication management of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in addressing communication challenges surrounding Hajj 2026. Hajj season represents an important institutional transition following the transfer of Hajj administration to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. This transition creates challenges related to institutional authority, public information, inter-institutional coordination, crisis communication, and public trust. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were obtained from government regulations, official publications, Hajj evaluation documents, academic articles, and relevant communication literature. The findings indicate that effective Hajj communication requires institutional transition management, coordinated messaging, multichannel public communication, digital information management, stakeholder engagement, and crisis response. The study proposes an Islamic Strategic Hajj Communication Management model based on shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah. The model emphasizes transparent, dialogical, ethical, and pilgrim-centered communication to strengthen public trust and service quality.
