Muqarin Review is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal in the field of Islamic Law, published by the Comparative Islamic Jurisprudence (Perbandingan Madzhab) Study Program, Faculty of Shari'ah and Law, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta. The journal welcomes academic articles in Arabic, English, and Indonesian contributed by students, academics, researchers, and other scholars with a profound interest in Islamic legal studies. It places particular emphasis on fatwā studies, comparative Islamic jurisprudence (madhhab), the principles of Islamic jurisprudence (uṣūl al-fiqh), and contemporary Islamic law.

Muqarin Review imposes strict quality standards regarding both academic substance and structural presentation. Consequently, all submitted manuscripts must rigorously comply with the established author guidelines and the journal's article template. The journal is published biannually, specifically in June and December.
