Nahid Ferdousi (Ph.D), is a Professor of Law at Bangladesh Open University (BOU, Bangladesh) and was affiliated as a research fellow at Centre for Civilisational Dialogue (CCDUM) in University of Malaya, Malaysia. She received an research award from University Grant Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh for research article on Juvenile Delinquency and Correctional Services in Bangladesh: A Critical Review. She is associated with Asian Bioethics Association (ABA), Bangladesh Bioethics Society (BBS) and Asiatic Society of Bangladesh (ASB). She is the member of Research Ethics Review Committee (ERC) of BBS. Her research interest is related to women rights, child protection and juvenile justice, gender and law, environmental justice and ethical issues.
