Dr. Nurul Aini Muhamed is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and a research fellow in the Institute of Halal Research and Management (IHRAM). Currently, she is also a Deputy Director for the Centre for Awqaf and Zakat, USIM. Previously, she was a Deputy Dean (Academic and Research) and a Head Program of Bachelor Degree of Muamalat Administration of the Faculty. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah (Management) from University of Malaya (2001), Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2003) and Master of Islamic Finance Practice (MIFP) from INCEIF (2021). She was awarded with PhD (Business and Management) from University of South Australia (2009). Her research interests include the Islamic Transaction Law, Islamic Banking and Finance, Halal Compliance and Shariah Governance.
