Abstract

The study objective was to examine the role of psychological ownership as a mediator concerning organizational citizenship behavior and authentic leadership. A structured questionnaire was selected to gather primary data from 300 respondents of the telecom sector of Lahore; 263 questionnaires were selected valid. This research use employees of four different companies in the telecom sector as samples. This research uses correlation, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The empirical result shows that authentic leadership positively relates to organizational citizenship behavior. According to the findings of this study, psychological ownership partially mediates the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and authentic leadership among the employees of the telecommunication sector of Pakistan. The Implication of this study is limited to the telecom sector of Pakistan. How to Cite:

    Erum Shaikh is a Ph.D., faculty at the Institute of Business administration, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. Her research area is Corporate social responsibility (finance and management major). She has a few publications in her research area at the different phases of published, submitted, under review, and accepted. She has a wide experience of teaching for more than seven years at the University of Sindh, universities, and other affiliated and private universities, currently a contract lecturer in, management sciences department at ISRA University, Hyderabad, Pakistan. She has participated in and organized several research workshops and events.

    Muhammad Nawaz Tunio is a Ph.D. in the Doctoral track Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Economic Development, in the Department of Sociology, Alpen Adria University, Klagenfurt, Austria on the government scholarship of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He was awarded a one-month young scientist research fellowship for the Kent State University, Ohio, USA under the mentorship of Professor Robert D. Hisrich by the Alpen Adria University, Klagenfurt.  He has few publications in the above-mentioned areas. He has presented papers in international conferences and attended research workshops.
