Abstract

This study aims to analyze the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council regarding the prohibition of support for Israel's aggression against Palestine and its impact on business transactions in Indonesia from the perspective of maqashid sharia. The method used by the researcher in examining this issue is the analytical method, where the researcher gathers information about maqashid sharia, the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council on prohibiting support for Israeli aggression, and information about the impact of this fatwa on business transactions, then analyzes it. The study shows the following results: the Ulema Council's fatwa has a significant influence on consumption patterns in Indonesia, where 95% of respondents stated they comply with and implement the fatwa. Maqashid sharia analysis reveals that the fatwa contributes positively to protecting religion and life, but creates challenges in the aspect of wealth protection, especially for producers merely suspected of being associated with Israel without strong evidence, as well as for small and medium business owners. This research concludes that although the Ulema Council's fatwa aligns with the principles of maqashid sharia in the context of humanitarian solidarity, a more comprehensive implementation strategy is needed to mitigate negative economic impacts.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia tentang pengharaman dukungan terhadap agresi Israel terhadap Palestina dan dampaknya terhadap transaksi bisnis di Indonesia dari perspektif ilmu maqashid syariah. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam mengkaji masalah ini adalah metode analitis, di mana peneliti mengumpulkan informasi tentang maqashid syariah, fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia tentang pengharaman dukungan terhadap agresi Israel, dan informasi tentang dampak fatwa tersebut terhadap transaksi bisnis, kemudian menganalisisnya. Studi ini menunjukkan hasil-hasil berikut: fatwa Majelis Ulama memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap pola konsumsi di Indonesia, di mana 95% responden menyatakan mematuhi dan melaksanakan fatwa tersebut. Analisis maqashid syariah mengungkapkan bahwa fatwa tersebut berkontribusi positif dalam melindungi agama dan jiwa, namun menciptakan tantangan dalam aspek perlindungan harta, terutama bagi produsen yang hanya diduga terkait dengan Israel tanpa bukti kuat, serta bagi pemilik usaha kecil dan menengah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun fatwa Majelis Ulama sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip maqashid syariah dalam konteks solidaritas kemanusiaan, diperlukan strategi implementasi yang lebih komprehensif untuk mengurangi dampak ekonomi negatif.
