Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi pada PT. Optima Trading

Abstract


PT. Optima Trading is a national sales agents who sell the products safety standards under the International Gimaex Group. Many similar companies that emerged resulted in increasing competition. Therefore, every company must have a competitive advantage in order to continue to compete with other companies. The problems that occur in the PT. Optima Trading one of them is the lack of an integrated system between divisions, giving rise to duplication of data or the data transfer can not be done directly. With the use of IS/IT is expected to resolve the existing problems in the PT. Optima Trading and also increase the competitive advantage among its peers. For the PT. Optima Trading should have a strategic planning of information systems. The method used is the method of data collection (observation, interviews, and literature) and information systems strategic planning methods Ward and Peppard (2002). Tools used is value chain analysis, SWOT, CSF, Porter 's Five Forces, PEST and Portfolio McFarlan. The results obtained from this study is strategic management of information systems (IS)/ information technology (IT), business strategies SI and SI strategies for PT. Optima Trading.
