Perancangan Sistem Informasi Spasial Iklim Wilayah II (Studi Kasus: BBMG Wilayah II)

Abstract

Geographical information system (GIS) is a system that supporting in spatial decision making and able to integrate location description of phenomena characteristic which found in that location. Nowadays the application of SIG has been used in many sectors our life’s. Such as:  farming, weather, climate, education, industry and government. One of the uses is to know climate in one region. Climate has a role to know the condition of one area, so it can be made as a decision making which is useful in that area. Weather data which is used can result climate information such as: data of rainfall, temperature, the pressure of air, moisture of the air, wind, sunshine. This final assessment takes place in BBMG District II, addressed in H.AbdulGhani Street No.5, Bulak Raya, Cempaka Putih, Ciputat, Tangerang.  Substance of this final assessment is how to arranging visualization information of climate in BBMG District II. Data that used are weather data (rainfall, temperature, pressure of air, moisture of air, which is relation with climate for period  2003 – 2005 that exist in II provinces at BBMG District II Ciputat. The tool used for this  application are Arcview 3.3,  Avenue as language program and 1 PC with Ms Access 2003 and also with CBIS Life Cycle as methodology development system.  The output of this are map layout (view and chart) in spatial shape.
