Focus and Scope

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies (ISSN 2089-3434; E-ISSN 2252-7060) is a journal published by Qur'an and Hadith Academic Society, in cooperation with Graduate School and Faculty of Ushuluddin Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta.

The journal is published twice annually (June and December) and consists of articles on Qur'anic studies, tafsir, hadith and their interpretations.

FOCUS

The focus is to provide readers with a better understanding of Qur'an, tafsir, and Hadith studies and present developments through the publication of articles and book reviews.

SCOPE

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies specializes in Qur'an, tafsir and Hadith studies and their interpretations. It covers the studies of Qur'an, tafsir and hadith in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, in the Muslim World and in the Western countries, either in the classical, medieval and modern/contemporary periods.

Peer Review Process

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies, published twice annually (June and December), is a trilingual (Indonesian, English and Arabic), peer-reviewed journal. All submitted papers are subject to double-blind review process. Decision for publication or rejection of articles is based on their review.

Journal of Qur'an and Hadith Studies is published twice in a year (June and December).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
