Ilmu Ushuluddin is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published by the HIPIUS (the Association of Ushuluddin Community) in collaboration with the Faculty of Ushuluddin Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta. This journal specializes in Usul al-Din studies which concern Qur’an, Hadith, Kalam, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Sufism, and Comparative Religion. Since 2021. the journal has been published twice a year in June and December.

Ilmu Ushuluddin has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and the Higher Education Republic of Indonesia as an academic journal with Sinta 2 level (SK No. 200/M/KPT/2020).

The journal of Ilmu Ushuluddin is accepting English papers on the scholarly study of Usul al-Din as well as Comparative Religion. In particular, papers dealing with historical, theological, sociological, anthropological, philosophical, political, and hermeneutic approaches are welcomed.
